Black Hill Woods is a Newfoundland-based company specializing in wild-harvested botanicals, teas, and natural products. We're growing rapidly and opening a limited opportunity for supporters to participate in our expansion through a private revenue-share model.
Investment Overview
- Structure: Private revenue-share (non-equity)
- Collective Share: 3% of monthly gross revenue distributed proportionally by contribution
- Return Cap: 1.5× the original investment
- Payouts: Monthly, within 10 business days of month-end
- Cancellation: Refund available minus prior payouts and transaction fees
How Payouts Work
All investors share 3% of total monthly gross revenue, divided proportionally by how much each person invests. Payouts continue until each investor receives 1.5× their original contribution.
| Investor | Investment (CAD) | % of Pool | Total Return (1.5×) | Net Profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | $1,000 | 10% | $1,500 | $500 |
| B | $4,000 | 40% | $6,000 | $2,000 |
| C | $5,000 | 50% | $7,500 | $2,500 |
For example, if total monthly sales are $6,000, the investor pool receives $180 (3% of sales). Each investor’s share is based on their contribution percentage. As revenue grows, payouts accelerate until each investor’s 1.5× cap is reached.

Payout Process & Fees
All investor payouts are distributed monthly through PayPal within 10 business days after each month-end. Each investor receives their proportional share of the collective 3% of total monthly gross revenue, until their full 1.5× return cap is reached.
Payments are sent directly to the same PayPal email address used when the investment was made, unless the investor requests otherwise in writing. Each payout will include a short monthly summary of total company revenue and the investor’s cumulative progress toward their cap.
Transaction Fees: All payouts are made net of standard PayPal transaction fees. These typically range from 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transfer, depending on location and account type. No additional administrative or service fees are deducted by Black Hill Woods.
If any payout is delayed due to processing, verification, or PayPal limitations, it will be included automatically in the following month’s payment cycle.
All payouts are logged in the company’s internal Investor Ledger and are traceable by date, amount, and PayPal transaction ID.
Cancel Anytime Guarantee
You can request to cancel at any time before your 1.5× return is reached. Upon cancellation, future payouts stop, and you’ll receive a refund of any unused principal (original investment minus payouts received), less applicable payment or processing fees.
