Ceylon Cinnamon's taste, smell and quality is superior compared to Cassia, which is commonly sold as "cinnamon". ALBA sticks are the thinnest, smoothest and most expensive grade in the cinnamon family. They feature a light golden brown appearance that has a nice texture, it provides a great smooth taste and releases a fresh pleasant aroma.
Real ALBA is only about the width of a pencil approx. 7-9 mm in diameter and 12-13 cm (4") long and has layers.
